In 2019 I engaged in a ceramic project with my friend Courtney Gertler of Cour Studio. The concept involved each of us creating 3 vessels with 5 or more attachments/appendages.
The intent of this project was to initiate different practices to our work. To discover a new process and creative direction through broader experimentation.

Ultimately the petal vessels evolved out of this experimental sculpture project. I was interested in examining different corals shapes. Looking to draw attention to the astounding beauty of universal reefs and the need for preservation.
