This body of work is inspired by the lichen patches growing on the boulders and trees along side a nearby creek. At times creating a repeat patch pattern.

The vase has been hand built using a coil method. The vase is glazed on the interior and hand painted in a loose pattern on the exterior exposing some of the raw clay.
